Our Impact

Project Asmita

We aim to address this issue by educating young girls & women about menstrual health and well-being by spreading awareness and by making hygiene products like sanitary napkins more accessible to these women. By informing them about the strong connection between hygiene and health, and educate them on best practices to adopt using hygiene products like sanitary napkins, we may be able to reduce a lot of hygiene and health related problems among the women population. We distribute sanitary napkins to the village women and explaining the importance of such napkins.

Our Approach

Rann Bhoomi Foundation (RBF) focuses on developing the potential of women and girls to drive long lasting equitable changes. We strategically emphasis on promoting quality healthcare, inclusive education, gender equitable and sustainable livelihood opportunities and disaster relief and preparedness.

Raising Awareness, Promoting Partnership and Mobilizing Resources

There is a very low level of awareness about viral hepatitis viruses, routes of transmission, risk factors and their impact on human health in the Indian community among health providers and policy makers. Hepatitis continues unabated as a “silent” infection. Most affected individuals do not know that they are infected with viral hepatitis B or C. Most do not have any visible symptoms in the early stages of the disease and hence do not feel the need for intervention.

Hepatitis B Vaccination Camp

Identification of drop out under UIP & private hospital vaccination. Household survey to be conducted for 100% households & vaccination cards are checked for proper vaccination schedule & dropouts are identified.
